web design & IT support in glasgow

Edinburgh gets the Fringe, the castle and most of the tourists. Glasgow gets on with the work. The Merchant City is full of independent shops, cafes and studios that need websites that actually do something. Out in the West End it's creative agencies and consultancies. South of the Clyde it's tradespeople, builders and small service businesses. All of them deserve a site that loads fast on a 4G train out of Central Station.

I'm based in Ramsbottom, just north of Manchester, and I've spent over 20 years in IT including running global service operations across 170+ countries. Glasgow is four hours up the M6 and M74, which isn't nothing, but the work is done remotely anyway — email, video, phone, Teams. You'll get the same attention whether you're on Sauchiehall Street or Sauchiehall Street's postcode.

the bigger Scottish city deserves the smaller agency

Glasgow agencies can charge Edinburgh-style prices without the Edinburgh-style commute. I hand-code every site from scratch — no WordPress themes, no templates, no page builders. Clean, fast, properly built. £499 to build, fully managed from £30 a month with hosting, SSL, email forwarder and support included. No account managers, no quarterly reviews, no six-month lead times.

from the Clyde to the suburbs

Whether you're a barber in Partick, a cafe in Finnieston, a joiner in Bearsden, or a consultancy in the International Financial Services District, your customers are searching on their phones. If your website is slow, ugly, or nowhere to be found on Google, you're handing that business to somebody else. A proper site fixes that.

what I do

Web design, Microsoft 365 email setup, remote IT support, AI chatbots that answer customer questions 24/7, AI visibility audits (so when someone asks ChatGPT for a Glasgow electrician, your name comes up), and IT policies written by somebody who's sat through more board meetings than I care to admit.

how it works

Everything is remote unless you specifically want otherwise. I build, you review, we iterate. Fixed prices, no hourly surprises. And if something genuinely needed doing in person, four hours with a podcast isn't a disaster. I like Scotland. I'd probably bring my walking boots.
